"Deborah Oropallo: POMP" runs from November 27 through the end of January at Melissa Morgan Fine Art in Palm Desert, CA. There will be a reception with the artist on December 10, 2010.
"Badly Happy: Pain, Pleasure, and Panic in Recent Romanian Art," curated by Erwin Kessler, runs from November 4, 2010 to January 8, 2011 at the Performance Art Institute in San Francisco. There will be an opening reception and performance Thursday, November 4th from 6-9 PM.
(Kessler was instrumental in bringing "The Missing Peace: Artists Consider the Dalai Lama," a show featuring several Magnolia artists, to the Brukenthal Museum in Sibiu, Romania earlier this year.)
And finally, "William T. Wiley and H.C. Westermann: Watercolors and Sculpture" opens November 4 and runs through December 4, 2010 at John Berggruen Gallery in San Francisco.
