Off the Beaten Path: Violence, Women, and Art, an exhibition curated by
Randy Rosenberg, includes work by numerous artists (including
Marina Abramovic and
Yoko Ono) addressing the issue of gender-based violence. The show features several works which Magnolia Editions helped produce, including the
Global Crescendo series, sponsored by the International Rescue Committee;
Hung Liu’s
Corn Carrier; and a performance still by
Yoko Inoue.
Off the Beaten Path is on view at Oslo's Stenersen Museum until August 9th; if you can't make it to Norway, there is a
virtual exhibition online at the Art Works for Change website.
